About this deal

So, for those who love Fortnite, you'll genuinely love this processor as well, and it's worth the upgrade. Granted, most likely you'll have to get another motherboard, but I got one here as well, and it worked flawlessly! The RTX 2060 Superis based on Turing architecture. It has 2176 CUDA cores running at 1470MHz. It has a huge 8GB GDDR6 VRAM that makes 1080p gaming a breeze. We've experienced that single-core performance is essential for some games, as many don't take full advantage of multiple cores.

The Division 2 is an ever CPU demanding title and here the 1600 AF was 43% faster than the 9100F when comparing the average frame rate and 33% faster for the 1% low result. Compared to the older Core i3-8100, the i3-9100F offers around 10 to 15 percent higher performance. Therefore, the CPU is well suited for simple office tasks but less for high end gaming or demanding applications. He was only getting around 40-50 FPS(frames per second) on the old motherboard/CPU, and he was in real need of an upgrade. Of course, it is not without its share of cons. The RX 5600 XTdoesn’t support Ray tracing and DLSS. If you want those features, the RTX 2060 Super mentioned above is the best fit for you. SKU “yang Diumumkan” masih belum tersedia. Silakan baca Tanggal Peluncuran untuk ketersediaan pasar.Through my research, I found out that not only does the i5-9400F do well, but this i3-9100F does an amazing job at gaming as well. For playing games on a budget CPU, first up we have Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. This game punishes quad-cores and as you'd expect, the 9100F fairs no better than the 7600K. Granted we're still looking at playable performance with the quad-cores, but frame stuttering will be much more apparent with these CPUs. It's total annihilation in Blender as well. Here the 1600 AF was 85% faster than the 9100F. Again it makes more sense, at least in terms of performance, to compare the Ryzen 5 part with the Core i7-8700K, as it was just 13% slower in this test. This begs the question, why were Intel fans claiming the 9100F would dust the 1600 AF, when in that very review we included Core i5-7600K results? Whatever the case, today we're putting them head to head in an effort to determine which budget CPU you should invest in.

PROS : Quality/Price is awesome. Depending on your build, I expect this CPU to be competent 5 to 7 years. Far Cry New Dawn isn't a CPU demanding game, at least not in the sense that it utilizes core heavy CPUs very well. However, we include this title deliberately as it's a good example of how some older titles behave with modern processors. The processor has a 3.60 GHz base frequency and supports a 4.20 GHz single-core max turbo frequency.

The quad-core Core i3-9100F was hopeless in Battlefield V, pretty bad in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, fairly useless in The Division 2, and weak in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. When playing older or less demanding titles such as Far Cry New Dawn, the Core i3 did well, but so will the 1600 AF or any other hexa-core or better Ryzen processor. The RTX 2060 Superis a power-efficient graphics card. It has a TDP rating of 175W for which a 600W power supply should be decent enough. It has a two-fan cooling system that offers you excellent cooling. It offers you the best possible performance at 1080p resolution. Its performance is similar to the RTX 2070 but for a lesser price. You can also enjoy Ray Tracing and DLSS in games that support them. The GTX 1660 Ti is based on Turing architecture. It has 1546 CUDA cores running at 1500MHz. It has a generous 6GB GDDR6 Memory. Its price to performance ratio is excellent. It beats the RTX 2060 in almost all games in terms of raw FPS. All those caveats aside... the i3-9100F is a spectacular bargain that can do 95% of what its more expensive cousins do at half the price or less, for anything but an enthusiast workload. 4 threads is more than adequate for the typical user or gamer, as most typical applications and games are only lightly threaded. In both benchmarks and actual workloads, the 9100F performs nearly on-par with the i5-9400F, which is twice as expensive. The only real distinction between the chips in practice is that the 9400F is a 6 core processor; unless you routinely use heavily threaded applications, there's virtually no benefit to the i5 chips (until you reach the 9600KF, which is almost 3x the cost of the 9100F).

It can run most esports games at 100+ FPS without even having to tone down the graphics settings. Most AAA games run without any FPS drops. It replaces the GTX 1070 for a much lower price and offers you a decent value for money.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is another modern CPU demanding title and here the 1600 AF was up to 28% faster. This article evaluates Intel's Core i3-9100F desktop CPU. We evaluated Intel's Core i3-9100F and compared it to others to determine which provides the best value as a gaming CPU. We shaped our testing methodology to focus on each CPU's attributes rather than solely on benchmarks. The Ryzen 5 part was 9% faster when comparing the average frame rate, but a massive 86% faster when looking at the 1% low results. The Core i3-9100F is a 4-core/4-thread Coffee Lake CPU, which means it's nearly identical to an 8th, 7th and 6th-gen quad-core. It's also not overly different to a 4th-gen Haswell quad-core except for the upgrade to DDR4 memory. That you are on a budget or not and you're build is just to game casually, right now, imo there is no point to go for any "bigger" than the i3-9100F. This CPU benchmarks better on single-core and quad-core than the i7 7700 and the i7 7700 is more than competent and capable for today's needs. My build runs LoL at 80 fps with everything maxed. If you want to record and stream your games as you play, I recommend you go for the i5 9600KF or look into the AMD Ryzens before going into i7s or i9s.
